Catia Ojeda and Alex Goldberg have been a producing, writing and directing team for over a decade. Collectively they are LatinX, Jewish, and the children and grandchildren of immigrants, veterans, scientists, educators, and blue collar workers. They are inspired by stories that cover the breadth of human experience, from the monumental and pivotal moments to the tiny, day to day moments that make us human. Their feature film Closure won seven festival awards, including Best Feature at D.C. Independent Film Festival, Best Feature at The Valley Film Festival (Los Angeles), Audience Choice Award at Austin Indie Fest, and Audience Choice Award at Manhattan Film Festival. Closure is available on Amazon Prime and in 17 countries. They wrote and produced the play IT IS DONE which ran off-Broadway in New York and has now been produced across the country, published, and twice optioned into a film. The Huffington Post called it one of the top Los Angeles productions of the year, winning multiple awards. Their collective and solo projects have been produced, screened or staged on six continents (we’re coming for you next, Antartica!). Married since 2010, their proudest collaboration to date are their 2 sons, born in 2014 and 2018.
